How to clean black granite worktops

Worktops granite is used mainly in the kitchen as counter tops  They come in many shades and styles to suit any kitchen. You would also pay quite a lot to buy and install this worktop to your kitchen so making sure you clean it properly is essential. It’s so vital to use correct cleaning methods to protect your investment to ensure the worktop lasts for years to come.

Things you will need to keep in hand:

1 cup of white vinegar
1 cup of water
2 spray bottles
Newspaper
1 cup of hydrogen peroxide

Instructions on how to clean:

Mix one cup of room temperature water with one cup of white vinegar. Mix this solution and put in a spray bottle. You can pre make multiple amounts of solution by doubling or tripling it and storing it some where cool and safe.

Spray the solution as you would do on any worktops.

Instead of a cloth use a dry newspaper to wipe away the solution. Make sure you use a round action to wipe the counter top to avoid streaks on your black granite worktops.

Removing Stains:

Mix one cup of room temperature water with one cup of hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. Please use a regular 12 percent hydrogen peroxide, which can be found off the counter in any local pharmacy.

Spray the solution directly onto the stained area as you would do with a normal spray.

Buff the countertop using newspaper until the stain is removed. Keep wiping until the solution is completely dry against the worktop.

This should give you a clean and stain free worktop which should last you for years to come.
